Editorial/Peer Review Process
We operate a double blind peer review system
- All submitted articles are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief
- Plagiarism check
- Editor-in-Chief may accept it for further review and assign the manuscript to an editorial board members for internal review or the manuscript may be rejected, if it falls short of the basic requirements or authors do not adhere to instruction to authors for preparation of manuscripts.
- After internal review, the manuscript is returned back to the Editor-in-Chief
- Those manuscripts considered potentially acceptable are then passed on to external reviewers who are experts in the various fields concerned.
- The reviewers would consider the originality, scientific reliability, methodology and logical presentation and analysis of findings as well as the relevance of the work to the scientific community.
- Those adjudged suitable that also have statistical analysis component would be submitted to statistician for statistical review.
- Those that fall short may be rejected outright or sent back to authors for corrections and revised manuscripts resubmitted for review.
- Those that successfully pass through above stages will be forwarded to Editorial Consultants for further scrutiny
- Those accepted will be forwarded to publishing consultant
- Letter of acceptance of manuscript would be issued to authors and instruction for payment for article processing fees (APC) would be given to authors
- Galley proof will be sent to authors after payment of article processing fee
- Articles would be published
- Online on our website
- Sent to be indexed on Pubmed, AJOL etc
- Hard copies printed (limited copies)
